Microsoft Expression Blend Bible - Website

I've started working through the book "Microsoft Expression Blend Bible" which references this site for additional tips and tutorials.

So far I don't find the book very useful but currently there's a limited number of books available on this topic.

Resources for User Interface Design

Here are a few sources to research when looking at application and web interface designs.

Dan Wesson Forum

I've created a new forum web site for the exchange of information pertaining to Dan Wesson revolvers and pistols.  The site was developed using PHP, WordPress and several other plugins.  WordPress takes much of the work out of deploying a site such as this and with the ability to change themes it will be very easy to keep the site looking fresh.

Visit WordPress or the Dan Wesson Forum for more information.

ZAM 3D XAML Tool for Next Generation Applications

I've been in the process of coming up to speed on Microsoft Expressions Blend, WPF and XAML and came across this product.  I haven't gotten to play with this yet but looks interesting.

Electric Rain ZAM 3D™ is a full-featured 3D modeling application that enables easy creation, customization and animation of 3D interface elements for Windows Vista based applications. Once a 3D scene is created, ZAM 3D automatically generates the XAML (eXtensible Application Markup Language) markup necessary to convert the 3D elements into a Windows Presentation Foundation "WPF" (formally Avalon) 3D scene. XAML files created with ZAM 3D can be directly integrated into your application development environment to create rich and engaging user experiences never before possible.

Report Authoring Demo

I have uploaded an excellent report authoring demo for Reporting Services to my shared folders.  If you’re interested in developing reports with Visual Studio and Reporting Services this would be a good place to start.

Here is a link to the Report Authoring Demo file.
